Abuja, February 15, 2024.- The Cuban ambassador Miriam Morales Palmero received the representative of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the State of Osun for South America, Mr. Karele Oodua, at the headquarters of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
During the exchange, they highlighted the existing ties between Cuba and Nigeria, especially those related to the Yoruba religion and the impact on Cuban society.
Ambassador Miriam Morales conveyed the religious and cultural variety that exists in Cuba, in addition to the role that has been granted to them as members of the country's main political organizations, a broad reflection of the cultural mix that characterizes Cuban society.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of fraternity and empathy.
Third Secretary Ana Flavia Gómez Pavot was present on the Cuban side.
