Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis offers a warm welcome to ICAP official

Basseterre, October 2, 2024: The Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Ms. Kaye Bass, offered a warm welcome to the official of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Tamara Armenteros Alcee, who is on a working visit to the Federation, accompanied on this occasion by Ambassador David Rivero Pérez.

Armenteros Alcee conveyed his gratitude to the people and government of this sister nation for the countless invariable displays of friendship, solidarity and support towards Cuba, mainly in the firm fight against the US blockade and the inclusion of Major of the Antilles, in the spurious list of sponsoring states of terrorism.

Ms. Bass reiterated the commitment and determination of Saint Kitts and Nevis to maintain its position of support for Cuba, as has been a tradition for almost three decades of diplomatic relations.

Both parties agreed on the excellent ties that unite these Caribbean nations in which cooperation and mutual support contribute to their continuous strengthening.

Jazee Connor, an official of the Foreign Ministry, also participated in the meeting.
