Havana, January 2, 2022.- A total of nine million 672 thousand 464 people have completed the vaccination scheme against COVID-19 in Cuba, with the national immunogens Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala.
The Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reports that this figure represents 86.5 percent of the country's population.
Until this Friday (December 31, 2021), 10 million 448 thousand 955 people had received at least one dose of one of the Cuban vaccines; of them, they have a second dose of nine million 305 thousand 904, and a third, eight million 945 thousand 092.
According to the daily part of the Minsap, a total of two million 174 thousand 094 people have booster doses: 139 thousand 137 as part of clinical studies and two million 034 thousand 957 as part of the booster vaccination that is being applied to population of selected territories and risk groups.
In total, 30 million 874 thousand 045 doses of immunogens developed in the country have been administered in Cuba.
