Movie "El Mayor" represents Cuba in LASFF.

Wellington, September 8. The Cuban film "El Mayor", about the life of the patriot Ignacio Agramonte, represents Cuba in the 20th edition of the Latin America and Spain Film Festival (LASFF) that takes place from September 2 in 11 cities of New Zealand.

After its presentation by Ambassador Edgardo Valdés at the opening of the event in Palmerston North on September 3, it was screened with a good turnout in Wellington on September 8 and will continue to be shown in different cities until December.

The Festival, organized each year by the embassies with the support of local sponsors, helps to bring the New Zealand public closer to the history and realities of our countries.
