National May Day celebration held in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Accra, 1 may 2026. – As guests of honor, the Cuban Ambassador to Ghana, Julio E. Pujol Torres, and Yamil Eduardo Martínez Marrero, Second Secretary of the Embassy, were invited to represent the workers of our country at the National May Day Celebration held at Jackson Park in the town of Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana. 
The ceremony was presided over by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana.
The colorful parade was made up of workers from 31 unions and organizations affiliated with the Ghana Trade Union Congress (TUC).
