A new demonstration of solidarity with Cuba was held in Oslo.

Members and supporters from various Norwegian organisations gathered on the afternoon of Thursday 11 June at Eidsvolls Plass, opposite the Parliament, to defend international law and show their solidarity with the people of Cuba in the face of the intensification of the blockade to levels that constitute a crime against humanity, and to condemn the ongoing threats of military aggression.

Our deepest thanks and appreciation for their sustained solidarity go to the Norwegian-Cuban Friendship Association “Cubaforeningen I Norge”, LO Oslo (trade union confederation), Communist Party of Norway, Norwegian People’s Aid in Oslo, Latin American groups, and other participants.
