New meeting between the Ambassador of Cuba and the First State Minister of Health of Uganda.

Kampala. On the afternoon of April 30, the Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques held a new meeting with the Honorable Anifah Kawooya Bangirana, state minister in charge of General Affairs of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uganda.

The Cuban diplomat and the Ugandan dignitary evaluated the status of the draft agreements under negotiation and discussed new possibilities for bilateral cooperation in the field of human health.

Cuba and Uganda celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations next May, and cooperation in health has been an important area of historical rapprochement between both nations.
