The New Today publica artículo de embajadora cubana

The Grenadian newspaper The New Today published in full an article signed by the Ambassador of Cuba in Grenada, Yadirys Echenique Paz, highlighting the importance of international solidarity with the Greater of the Antilles. The dissemination of the text in a local Caribbean outlet gave visibility to Cuba’s position at a time marked by the economic and energy difficulties caused by the hostility of the U.S. government.

In her article, the diplomat stressed that solidarity is not an isolated gesture, but a force that unites peoples in the face of adversity. “Solidarity is the force that unites peoples in the face of adversity,” she affirmed, recalling that the support received by Cuba represents a moral and political backing of great value.

The Ambassador also underscored the role of support campaigns organized in Grenada, noting that these initiatives go beyond material contributions and become expressions of conscience and justice. “Each contribution we receive is more than a resource: it is a symbol of commitment and true friendship,” she wrote, referring to the actions that accompany the Cuban people from Grenada.

The article published by The New Today included references to Cuba’s current energy situation and to the consequences of the economic blockade imposed by the United States. In this regard, the Ambassador explained that these coercive measures aim to paralyze the Island’s economy, but that the resilience of the Cuban people has been able to uphold national sovereignty and dignity.
