New York, July 27th, 2023.- New York newspaper Amsterdam News highlighted today the presence in Cuba of the 33rd edition of the IFCO/Pastors for Peace Caravan, headed by its executive director, Gail Walker.
The article, written by journalist Karen Juanita Carrillo, refers that, as part of the actions to be carried out in the Greater of the Antilles, the members of the Caravan will participate at events in Santiago de Cuba to conmemorate the 70th anniversary of the assault to garrisons Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes.
It also details that, in this ocassion, the 33rd caravan was accompanied by an important donation of medical resources.
According to reports issued by Cuban media, near 30 persons composed the XXXIII Caravan Pastors for Peace.
Pastors for Peace caravans, funded by Reverend Lucius Walker, started in 1992 as challenge to US policies against Cuba and to the economic and financial siege imposed by the blockade.
