Nigeria celebrated the International Women's Day.

Nigeria, March 8, 2023.- The Cuban ambassador in this country, Clara M. Pulido Escandell was invited as part of the diplomatic corps accredited in Nigeria to participate in the celebration for International Women's Day, an activity organized by the Nigerian Foreign Ministry in Abuja.

Within the framework of it, a seminar was offered with the theme: "Digital: innovation and technology for gender equality", which highlights the need for inclusive and transformative technology and digital education among women and girls.

In that space, the Ministry of Women's Affairs emphasized the need to deliberately give women the opportunity to thrive in the digital world.
