Oslo, March 12, 2024. Last weekend, the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association held its Annual Meeting, which was a suitable occasion to review the work carried out in 2023 and define the Action Plan for the current year.
The ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Mrs. Maité Rivero Torres, who was invited to deliver the closing remarks, reiterated the gratitude of the Cuban people to the Association for its permanent solidarity and support in the struggle for the lifting of the US genocidal blockade and the exclusion of Cuba from the spurious list of State sponsors of terrorism.
The Cuban diplomat seized the opportunity to share with the participants essential ideas from the speech given by the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, at the International Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, which took place in Havana in May 2023, taking into account that they constitute a guide to action.
