Oslo, April 22, 2024. During the event organized by Norway-Cuba Friendship Association for commemorating its 60th anniversary, the Cuban ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, took the opportunity to bid farewell to Paulius Eidukas, who was about to leave for Cuba to join the XVII First of May International Brigade of Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba, which will take place between April 22 and May 4.
Paulius' enthusiasm and joy were evident. Despite this being his third visit to our country, he was full of interests and expectations.
The young man, who is part of the board of the Friendship Association and leader in Oslo of the Communist Party of Norway (NKP), will also take part in Havana in the activities on the occasion of the International Workers' Day, as well as at the VIII International Seminar on Peace and for the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases, to be held in the province of Guantánamo, on May 4 and 5.
