Oslo, August 14th, 2024. Norwegian organizations paid tribute to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the occasion of the 98 anniversary of his birth.
The Norway-Cuba Friendship Association issued the following statement:
Happy birthday, Fidel!
Fidel Castro Ruz was born 98 years ago.
Fidel turned Cuba, a banana republic and mafia clubhouse, into an international force in education, health care, biotechnology and worldwide solidarity.
For more than 65 years, the Cuban Revolution has been an inspiration to people around the world for its achievements in health, education, internationalism and much more!
