Oslo, June 11, 2023. In a note posted on its Facebook profile, the Division of Humanitarian Affairs of the Office of the Historian of Havana informed that a simple but moving ceremony was held at the ancient Belen Convent, to mark the end of the work practices of a group of 6 students from the Norwegian University of Stavanger.
For six months they were accompanying the work of Belen and promoting their own initiatives for the elderly and also for boys and girls in the Children's House and the museum classrooms.
For them it was a period of learning and awareness.
These Norwegian youngsters went to Cuba through the Faculty of Sociology of the University of Havana and were inserted in a marvelous way in all the work of Humanitarian Affairs of the Office of the Historian of Havana. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
