Abuja, March 7, 2024.- The Ambassador of Cuba Miriam Morales Palmero participated this morning in the official launch of the National Helpline for Women of the Mobile Court, chaired by the Minister of Women's Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria . Dr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, in the presidential villa, as part of the activities carried out within the framework of the celebrations for International Women's Day.
At the opening ceremony, the minister addressed the high level of importance represented by the existence of a channel like this to which women could access to receive any help or guidance regarding their security and empowerment in society.
Members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Abuja and representative figures of the struggle for women's rights in both Nigeria and Africa were invited.
