The official visit of Cuba begins, presided by the Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Inés María Chapman
Pretoria, March 24, 2019.- The Vice President of the Councils of State and of Ministers of Cuba, Inés María Chapman, arrived in South Africa on an official visit, as part of a trip that included her participation in the Special Summit of the Development Community of Cuba Southern Africa (SADC) on March 26 and the visit to Lesotho and Kenya. During his stay in South Africa, she will also carry out an intense program that includes her participation in the commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the Cuito Cuanavale Battle, meetings with the highest political and governmental authorities of South Africa, as well as with Cuban collaborators in this sister nation and with Solidarity with Cuba.
Upon arrival at the international airport "Oliver Tambo" in Johannesburg, South Africa; she was received by the Minister of Public Works of South Africa Hon Thembelani W Nxesi.
