Official visit of Lao Foreign Minister Thongsavanh Phomvihane to Cuba comes to an end.

Vientiane, October 4, 2025. Lao Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongsavanh Phomvihane concluded a successful stay in Cuba, where he carried out an official visit at the invitation of his Cuban counterpart.

In addition to holding official talks with Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, he was received by President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, and visited other socioeconomic and cultural places.

A heartfelt tribute was paid to Cuban National Hero Jose Martí, and he visited the Fidel Castro Center as well as the Mariel Special Economic Zone.
