Opened new divan cigar in Malaysia

Langkawi, January 11- The Langkawi Royal Yacht Club hotel already has a cigar divan with Cuban habanos, among the preferred by the public. It was inaugurated as part of the international royal regatta held annually on that island in the state of Kedah.

The inauguration was officiated by Datuk Seri DiRaja Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Shafinaz Tuanku, daughter of the sultan Kedah and XIV King of Malaysia, who died two years ago. The opening remarks were given by the president of the company Trinidad, which distributes Cuban cigars in Malaysia and by the ambassador of Cuba, Ibete Fernández Hernández.

In her speech, the ambassador highlighted the characteristics that make Cuban tobacco unique and thanked Dato Naresh for her passion and commitment to the promotion of Habanos in Malaysia. The diplomat also highlighted that Cuban cigars have become part of the social and cultural life of the country. He also invited those present to participate in the next edition of the Habano Festival that will take place in Cuba from February 18 to 22.
