Opening of the Embassy of Cuba in the United Arab Emirates

H.E. Mr. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Minister of State, Hector Igarza, Director of North Africa and the Middle East and Jorge Leon, head of the Cuban mission, inaugurated the Embassy of Cuba in Abu Dhabi with the presence of the emirati ambassador in Havana Bader Al Matrooshi, the Directors of America, Protocol and other authorities and personalities of the country, as well as the accredited diplomatic corps and numerous resident Cuban citizens.

After unveiling the Embassy plaque, the notes of the Cuban and UAE nationalists were intoned. Later the Director Igarza gave the opening speech and immediately the embassy was inaugurated.
