Organization of Eastern Caribbean States pledges solidarity with victims of the tornado in Cuba

The Commission of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States pledged, by means of a note, their solidarity with the Government of Cuba, on the occasion of the human and material losses caused by the recent tornado in Havana.  In the message the Commission expressed that the peoples of the countries making up the Organization share in the pain and suffering of the Government and people of Cuba.  It expressed profound condolences to the family members, relatives and loved ones of the victims, at the same time that it assured the long-standing and permanent solidarity of the Governments and peoples of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States.
