The parliamentary delegation on an official visit to Turkey completed an intense day of work, with the aim of strengthening relations for the benefit of both our peoples.
It was received by Mustafa Şentop President of the great National Assembly of Turkey. During the meeting they reviewed the state of bilateral relations and evaluated the potentialities of their development, the Vice-President handed over a message from her Cuban counterpart Esteban Lazo.
Ana Mari Machado also met with the Cuba-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations in this field.
The delegation also paid tribute to the Founding Father of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and expressed the desire to strengthen the ties of friendship between the two peoples.
