Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Brunei receives Cuban ambassador

Kuala Lumpur, January 31st- The Permanent Secretary and Protocol Director of the Brunei Foreign Ministry, Dato Mohamed Nor Jeludin, welcomed the Cuban ambassador appointed in that country, Ibete Fernandez, on a courtesy call.

During the meeting, Dato Jeludin welcomed the Cuban ambassador to Brunei and ratified his country's willingness to expand ties with Cuba. He also praised the state of political relations and recognized the existence of numerous possibilities for diversification. He mentioned as possible sectors of health and sports, given the experience and prestige of Cuba.

Dato Jeludin is one of five permanent secretaries of the Bruneian Foreign Ministry and one of the diplomats with the longest time in the foreign service of that country in Southeast Asia.
