Permanent Secretary of Infrastructure receives the Cuban Ambassador in Grenada

St George, March 5. At the Ministerial Complex of Grenada, the Ambassador of Cuba Ivette Martínez was received this morning by the Permanent Secretary of Infrastructure and Civil Aviation Mrs. Sylvia Bennet-Thomas. In a friendly meeting, the diplomat expressed thanks for the systematic compliance with the collaboration agreement signed between the Union of Caribbean Construction Companies (UNECA) and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Grenada, which provides for 8 Cuban engineers, with high prestige to guarantee the quality of their projects.

For her part, the Permanent Secretary referred to the good work of Cuban professionals and expressed interest in having qualified personnel in another area of ​​their interest. The collaboration between Cuba and Grenada in the area of ​​physical planning and construction dates back to the beginning of bilateral relations, always with positive results and social development for both countries.

Miss  Raye Goddard, the Administrative Head of Infrastructure and the engineer Rafael González Reyes, Head of the group of collaborators of the UNECA in Grenada, participated in the meeting.
