The Philippines ratifies its traditional support for the Cuban cause against the blockade.

Manila, October 17- The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs of Philippines, Ambassador Enrique Manalo, expressed his country's opposition to the economic, financial and commercial blockade of the United States and acknowledged the negative effects that this causes to the development of commercial relations between Cuba and the rest of the world.

The deputy minister received from the Cuban ambassador, Ibete Fernandez Hernandez, the report presented by Cuba on the damages of this unjust policy. She also thanked the traditional support of this country to the Cuban resolution.
