Photo exhibition and conference on Cuba in Wellington.

Wellington, August 22. More than 200 people attended the Embassy theater in this city, to watch 80 photos about Cuba presented on the screen, taken by New Zealanders who visited the island.

Next, Ambassador Edgardo Valdés spoke about the history of Cuba, the current situation, the blockade, relations with New Zealand, trade and investment opportunities, tourism, and medical cooperation, among other topics.

The exchange lasted for two hours, reflecting the interest of the attendees to learn more about Cuba.

The organization U3A was the coordinator of the event.
