The popular Ghanaian singer Amandzeba Nat Brew visited the Embassy of Cuba in Ghana. He was received by the First Secretary, Julio César Sánchez, and the Consular Officer, Eulalia Cárdenas San Martín.
The famous singer, who presented himself as an advocate of just causes, in July 2017 took part in the Mega Concert in solidarity with the people of Palestine, held at the National Theater of Accra.
At the meeting at the Embassy of Cuba, Amandzeba expressed his admiration for Cuba, and for figures of the World Revolution such as the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, and the Commander Ernesto Ché Guevara. The Ghanaian singer expressed that he dreams of visiting Cuba, to see in practice the job of its Revolution. During the conversation, they emphasized on the common elements of the Ghanaian and Cuban Music, in particular by the rhythm base of the drums.
Amandzeba, an example of a committed artist, said that African musicians should take an active role in debates about the reality of the continent.
