Wellington, September 16th, 2018. At the National headquarters of the New Zealand Trade Union "Unite Union", the third secretary Saimin Fis Abad, had the opportunity to exchange on the role of women during the revolutionary process and in the current Cuban society.

The event, organized by the Cuban Embassy and the Association of Friendship with Cuba in Auckland, had a large participation, highlighting the presence of young people interested in knowing more about the history of the Cuban Revolution.

The exchange motivated numerous interventions and comments in recognition of the achievements made by Cuba in terms of the empowerment of women and their participation in the political, economic and social life of the country.

The opportunity was propitious to also provide information on other topics, such as the updating of the Cuban economic model and the debate process of the Draft Constitution. (Embacuba NZ).
