Luxembourg, March 20, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Eva Yelina Silva Walker presented to the Lieutenant Representative of HRH the Grand Duke, Crown Prince Guillaume, the credentials accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
In a warm and formal ceremony, the Cuban ambassador conveyed to the future Grand Duke messages of appreciation and willingness to cooperate with the Luxembourg government. Silva Walker expressed her desire to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation with the European nation.
The relations between the Ducal House and the Republic of Cuba have a long history of respect and cooperation, as well as the support of the love that the Grand Duchess feels for her Cuban origins.
The Ambassador took the opportunity to thank the Luxembourg government for its historic stance against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the U.S. government against Cuba.
