Upper Hutt, May 17. Invited by the board of directors of the Rebus Club of this city, Ambassador Edgardo Valdés virtually presented an exhibition of 80 photos of Cuba before a large group of members of that institution.
In addition, he gave a lecture on various aspects of life in Cuba, foreign policy, and relations with New Zealand, among other aspects; after which he answered multiple questions on the most varied topics.
The attendees showed a genuine interest in learning about Cuba, and some shared their personal or family experiences during trips to the island.
Rebus NZ was created in 2015. It is short for Retired Business Persons, and its clubs bring together retired and semi-retired professionals who want to meet socially and participate in other activities.
