Zandvoort, February 26, 2023. The Cuban musician residing in the Netherlands, Jorge Martínez Galán, appeared this Sunday at the "De Krocht" Theater to offer a piano and guitar concert as a soloist.
The repertoire included pieces by Cuban composers Manuel Saumell; Cold Linen; Ernesto Lecuona and Joseíto Fernández, as well as works of their own in the Afrojazz genre.
Jorge Martínez Galán is known as the musical director, arranger and composer of the vocal group "Coro Cantoro", with more than twenty years of performances on stage in the Netherlands. His work has contributed to making classical and contemporary Cuban music known, becoming a reference person for Cuban culture in his town and in the country.
