Presented in Thailand the update of the National Report of Cuba (Period August/2021-February/2022) under UNGA Resolution 75/289

Bangkok, October 20, 2022. - The Cuban ambassador to Thailand, Héctor Conde, was received at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry by Eksiri Pintaruchi, general director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand in the framework of the works of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 77).

The Cuban diplomat presented the update of the National Report (Period August/2021-February/2022) under Resolution 75/289 of the United Nations General Assembly entitled "Need to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba” and thanked the People and Government of the Kingdom of Thailand for their continued support of said UN Resolution.

In the cordial exchange, which was also attended by officials from the Foreign Ministry of the Asian nation, both parties reaffirmed the importance of joint efforts in defense of multilateralism, the sovereignty of States and of maintaining close cooperation in the different multilateral forums.
