St. George, December 19, 2023.- The new Ambassador of Cuba in Granada, Ivette Martínez Leyva presented this Tuesday, to the Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Andall, the Style Copies of the Credential Letters, which accredit her to the Government of that country.
During the meeting, the Grenadian Foreign Minister welcomed the Cuban diplomat and highlighted the positive political relations and cooperation between both countries.
The Cuban Ambassador took the opportunity to reiterate Cuba's gratitude to the Granada government for demanding the lifting of the Blockade and the removal of Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, in her speech at the 78th UNGA.
The diplomats discussed other issues on the bilateral agenda and ratified the willingness to continue working to strengthen ties between both countries.
