NIGERIA, February 1, 2018. On the afternoon of yesterday the Cuban Ambassador, Carlos Trejo Sosa, was received by the new President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Prince Adekotunbo Kayode. The dialogue took place in a cordial and respectful atmosphere, showing the existing relations between both countries.
The President expressed his interest in establishing bilateral collaboration with Cuba, especially in the area of health, specifically the pharmaceutical sector, and tourism.
The Ambassador thanked first the meeting with the directors of the Chamber, moved the willingness of the Cuban Government to strengthen ties in bilateral trade and provided updated information on the progress made by our country in the sectors mentioned.
In the meeting, by the Nigerian side The Vice President of the Chamber, the General Director and the Director of Development and Business were present. On the Cuban side, were present the Second Secretary of the Embassy.
