Mr. Ioannis Bratakos, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Athens, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Aramís Fuente Hernández.
The conversation focused on the perspectives on the relations between Cuba and Greece in the economic and commercial sphere. The development of economic and business cooperation was discussed, highlighting areas of interest such as maritime transport, biotechnology, medical-pharmaceutical products, tourism, investments and other spheres of common interest.
Both exchanged views on the upcoming signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the EBEA and the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, which will constitute a contribution to the expansion of economic and commercial ties between both countries.
The next edition of the International Fair of Havana, FIHAV25, was also discussed, as well as the possibilities it offers for greater knowledge of the Cuban market by Greek companies.
As mentioned in a post on the EBEA website, the meeting confirmed the active role that Greece can play in expanding exchanges, cooperation and in the economic development of Cuba.
