The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Mr. Pedro Luis Despaigne González, received at the embassy the Professor Edmund Nminyem Delle, National Chairman of the Convention People's Party (CPP).
During the meeting, the parties addressed issues related to the historical ties between Cuba and Ghana, and ratified the friendship between the CPPand the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC). The Cuban Ambassador emphasized on the current stage of the struggle against the blockade, while the Professor Delle highlighted the importance of the heritage of the father of independence of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah, as well as the unfair and archaic of the permanence of the blockade against Cuba.
