Lima, Mar 20 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Raúl Castro Ruz expressed his condolences to the human and material damages suffered by Peru, in a message to his counterpart, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, published here.
'I have known the human and material damages caused by the torrential rains that have struck Peru. Receive sincere condolences, which I extend to the Peruvian people and the families of the victims, "said the Cuban leader.
For its part, the Cuban Embassy in Peru informed the Peruvian Foreign Ministry that "it is at complete and permanent disposal of the Government of the Republic of Peru to attend and immediately process any request for aid" in the face of the disasters caused by the rains.
Cuba has historically acceded to the requirements of aid to Peru in cases like the great earthquake of 1970 and the one of Pisco of 2007, opportunities in which provided medical brigades and other means of medical assistance.
