President of the Global Pan-African Movement meets with Cuban Ambassador.

Kampala. On the afternoon of November 21, the Honorable Kahinda Otafiire, President of the Global Pan-African Movement and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, met with Cuban Ambassador Tania Pérez Xiques.

On the occasion of her farewell as head of diplomatic mission, Pérez Xiqués thanked the prominent Ugandan politician, the Pan-African Movement and the Ministry he heads for their support during her work as ambassador to the African nation.

In January of this year 2024, Kahinda Otafiire was awarded the Friendship Medal by the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba, in recognition of his historic support for the Cuban Revolution.
