The member of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State, Esteban Lazo Hernandez, ratified to his counterpart from Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş, that the Eurasian nation can always count on Cuba's solidarity.
Upon seeing him off at the "José Martí" airport, he conveyed the fraternal embrace of the Cuban Party, Parliament, Government and people, to the highest authorities and the Turkish people, countries that coincide -he said- in principles of respect for peace and human rights, among others.
Regarding the official dialogues with his Caribbean counterpart, he valued that they were profitable and comprehensive. "The common goal we all have today is to create a just and prosperous world and, in that sense, cooperation between States and Parliaments is fundamental", the President of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye meant.
Numan Kurtulmuş stressed in his remarks the need to take advantage of the possibilities of parliamentary diplomacy between the two countries in order to accelerate the rapprochement between their governments and peoples.
