President of Ireland sends fraternal greetings to the people and the President of Cuba.

Dublin, January 30, 2020. On the occasion of the traditional New Year's greeting to the accredited diplomatic corps, the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins sent his best regards to the Cuban people and President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, recalling the recent Official visit to Ireland, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two States.

For his part, the Cuban ambassador, Hugo Rene Ramos Milanes, also expressed greetings and votes of renewed successes for the Head of State and for the Irish people.

John Halligan, Minister for training, innovation, research and development, who is a fraternal friend of Cuba, was also present at the ceremony.
