President of Laos travels to Havana to participate in the G77 Summit

Vientiane, September 2023. The president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Thongloun Sisoulith, traveled to Havana in response to the invitation extended by his  counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel, to participate in the G77 Summit, under the protempore Cuban presidency.

In a friendly exchange with the Cuban Ambassador in that country, Enna Viant Valdes, he conveyed his desire and satisfaction to fulfill the commitment to visit Havana again and contribute to the success of the event.

Laos intends to support the actions contained in the agenda for the sustainable and inclusive development of the countries of the South, in the present complex international scenario.
