The President of Namibia, H.E Dr Nangolo Mbumba, held a productive exchange at the State House with the Cuban ambassador Sergio Vigoa de la Uz.
In a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, the ambassador thanked on behalf of the Cuban government and people for the permanent support of Namibia in international and regional forums for the cause of eliminating the United States blockade against Cuba and the request to exclude our country from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
The diplomat updated the president on the difficult economic situation that the Island is going through due to these measures applied by the United States and fundamentally impact trade and finances with the Greater Antilles.
For his part, the president ratified Namibia's commitment to accompany Cuba in its permanent fight in favor of the people and against the Yankee interference that for more than 60 years has sought to destroy the Cuban Revolution.
