Esteban Lazo Hernández, President of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba, was received by Akif Çağatay KILIÇ, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Grand Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye , accompanied by several members of this Commission.
During the meeting, both personalities reviewed the state of bilateral relations in different spheres and their potential for development.
They also discussed all the initiatives and actions to be developed to boost parliamentary relations between the two countries, in support of relations between the Turkish and Cuban governments, particularly those related to raising the level of bilateral economic, trade and financial relations to place them at the same level of good political relations, friendship and cooperation between Cuba and Türkiye.
The President of the Cuban Parliament was accompanied by a large delegation composed of:

- Enrique Moreno Gimenarez, Director of Social Communication of the National Assembly of People's Power.
- Emilio Lozada García, Ambassador and General Director of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba.
