President of the Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia receives the Cuban Ambassador.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. May 7, 2019. Mr. Zagdjav Deleg, President of Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, at the organization's headquarters in the capital of Mongolia in  a cordial work meeting. The meeting addressed different issues of international political and social news, as well as the intimate bonds of friendship that unite both countries.

The President of the Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia, Mr. Zagdjav, invited the Cuban Ambassador to participate in the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of this organization founded on December 9, 1958 as a "Mongolian Committee to interact with foreign countries for Peace and Culture", which will held on May 16, 2019. The President also asked to convey his warmest greetings to the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples and its President, comrade Fernando Gonzalez Llort. At the same time he expressed his rejection of the most recent actions of the government of the United States against Cuba in its intention to intensify the blockade through the application of Title III of the Helms Burton Act. Mr. Zagdjav also noted that the Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia rejects the escalation of warlike threats against Venezuela by the US Government, emphasizing that the organization that presides over principle is against the war and in favor of peace.

The Cuban Ambassador thanked the demonstrations of support to Cuba, Venezuela and the rest of the Latin American countries that see the peace of the region threatened by the imperialist attempts to materialize the Monroe Doctrine in the region. The Ambassador took the opportunity to invite President Zagdjav to participate in the Regional Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba that will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal, during the month of July.
