2023 will be a year of intense work by associations of solidarity with Cuba.

This 2023 will be a cycle of many initiatives and joint activities, from the associations that make up solidarity with Cuba in the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Their main representatives, Telca Wallace, of the SKN-Cuba Friendship Association and Hollis Prentice, of the graduates’ association, held meetings with the diplomatic staff of the Embassy of Cuba, in which they presented their plan of activities planned for the whole year.

Cuban residents in Jamaica join the caravan condemning the blockade held against Cuba

Kingston, Jamaica, 28 February 2022. Directors and members of the 'Antonio Maceo' Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica and other members of the Cuban community joined a caravan of cars this Sunday morning in support of Cuba and against the inhumane economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the US government on the Greater Antilles.

Foreign Ministers of Vietnam and Cuba hold telephone conversation

Vietnam and Cuba highlighted the excellent level of bilateral ties in a telephone conversation held on March 16 by their respective Foreign Ministers, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla and Pham Binh Minh.

Both representatives praised the high level of political relations, comprehensive cooperation and the exchange of experiences in buiding Socialism as a contribution to the two countries´ socioeconomic development.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raúl Castro, and the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of that nation, Nguyen Phu Trong, held a fraternal telephone conversation, after the celebration of the XIII Congress of the Vietnamese political organization.

Army General congratulated friend Phu Trong on his reelection as head of the Party. He praised the results of the conclave and thanked the brother country for its unconditional support for the Cuban Revolution.

Raúl and Díaz-Canel receive Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

CUBA, July 10, 2019.- Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, and Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, yesterday afternoon received the Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, on an official visit to our country.

President of the Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia receives the Cuban Ambassador.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. May 7, 2019. Mr. Zagdjav Deleg, President of Peace and Friendship Organization of Mongolia, received the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, at the organization's headquarters in the capital of Mongolia in  a cordial work meeting. The meeting addressed different issues of international political and social news, as well as the intimate bonds of friendship that unite both countries.

Saudi-Cuban Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council has held a meeting chaired by Member of the Shura Council Eng. Mohammad bin Hamed Al-Naqadi with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Orlando Requeijo Gual.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and stressed the importance of mutual visits between the joint parliamentary friendship committees between the Shura Council and the Cuban Parliament to raise the level of parliamentary cooperation between them.

Trinidadian Minister of Health receives Cuban Ambassador.

Port of Spain, February 27 - The Minister of Public Health of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Terrence Deyalsingh, received Guillermo Vázquez Moreno, ambassador of Cuba to the Caribbean island, at the institution's headquarters. The Minister was accompanied by Richard Madray and Dr. Roshan Padasran, permanent secretary and chief of medical assistance of the Ministry.

The parties discussed several topics of bilateral interest, among which stands out the continuity and perspectives for the strengthening of the fruitful and recognized relations of bilateral cooperation in the medical sector, as a result of which a hundred Cuban health collaborators work at the moment., which includes doctors, nurses and pharmacists. At present, both countries are working on updating the bilateral cooperation agreement. Likewise, was discussed the status of the projects under evaluation that will allow the entry to Trinidad and Tobago of important Cuban medicines.
