President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, congratulates his Mauritian counterpart on the 53rd anniversary of independence.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez congratulated his Mauritian counterpart, H.E. Mr. Prithvirajsing Roopun, for the 53rd Anniversary of Independence. In the letter, Díaz-Canel conveyed cordial congratulations and expressed the will to continue expanding relations between the two countries. On March 12th 1968, the Republic of Mauritius achieved its independence from the United Kingdom.
