At the Lahane Presidential Palace, the head of state of Timor-Leste, Dr. José Ramos-Horta, was the keynote speaker at the event organized by the East Timor Trading Group, which celebrated its annual meeting and recognized the winners of the 2026 International Film Festival awards.

The event was attended by the Cuban government’s top representative in the country, Ambassador Alina Aldama, who had the opportunity to mingle with other diplomats and with the head of the Presidential Civil Office, Henriqueta Maria da Silva.
