President of the UWI Student Guild visits the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica

Kingston, Jamaica, 3 November 2019. Christina Williams, President of the Student Guild at the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, paid a courtesy call on the Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica, H.E Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández.

During the cordial meeting, the student leader made a brief presentation on the work carried out by the organization she chairs.

Along with the Cuban diplomat, Williams assesed possible areas of future exchange between the Embassy and students from this Higher Education institution.

The President of the Student Guild praised the historical and cultural bonds that have always characterised the relations between Cuba and Jamaica.
