Harare, February 27, 2025- The President of Zimbabwe, Hon. Mr. Emmerson D. Mnangagwa, today received the letters of credence of the Ambassador of Cuba, Her Excellency. Mrs. Susellys Pérez Mesa, with the renewed commitment to strengthen the historic relations between the two countries.
The dignitary ratified the decision to promote ties in new areas of common interest after highlighting the significant cooperation, especially in education and health, as well as the contribution of Cuba to the independence of Africa.
After the official ceremony of handing over the letters of credence at the Presidential Palace, in which the Hon. Chancellor, Professor Amon Murwira, participated, the president and the Ambassador held a fruitful and emotional exchange during which they addressed the main issues on the bilateral agenda.
