The presidents of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Carricarte, and of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, Ioannis Bratakos, held an interesting and fruitful exchange of information and assessments on the relations between both countries in the commercial sphere, through a video conference, held this afternoon.
The senior officials evaluated the current state of bilateral trade relations and agreed that there is an intention and interest on both sides to strengthen and expand trade and business for mutual benefit.
In a cordial atmosphere, both expressed the willingness of the institutions they preside over to support and stimulate the actions of the companies and members that comprise them, to strengthen ties and develop new ways for exchanges and collaboration between both countries.
The President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, reported on the holding of the XXXVIII Havana Fair from November 14 to 18 of this year, highlighting that FIHAV is the most important general commercial exchange in Cuba and the Caribbean, and one of the most representative in Latin America, and ratified the invitation for a representation of Greek businessmen to be present at that event.
