New York, 10 July 2017.The United Nations Organization inaugurated today the High-level political forum on sustainable development, convened under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), aimed at following-up to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals.
The main theme of the Forum is ‘Eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity in a changing world’.
The Cuban delegation, headed by the Deputy Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal will address the Forum’s General Debate and will participate on the different exchange scenarios the event provides until next 19 July.
